Managing Delivery Ratings

Delivery ratings help you collect customer feedback after each delivery. You can use this feature to measure delivery performance and identify areas for improvement — such as timeliness, professionalism, and packaging quality.

Overview

Customers can rate their delivery experience on a scale of 1 to 5 stars and provide specific feedback based on options you define.

  • Positive ratings (3–5 stars) show the Like Options you configure.

  • Negative ratings (1–2 stars) show the Dislike Options you configure.

You can enable or disable delivery ratings anytime from the app settings.

How to Enable Delivery Ratings

  1. In your Shopify admin, open Super Local Delivery.

  2. Go to the Settings > Delivery Ratings section.

  3. Toggle Enable Rating to turn on ratings for completed orders.

  4. Configure your feedback options (see below).

  5. Click Save.

Once enabled, customers will see a rating screen after their order is marked as delivered.

Configuring Feedback Options

You can define up to 5 feedback options for both positive and negative experiences.

Like Options (for ratings ≥ 3)

These options appear when a customer gives a rating of 3, 4, or 5 stars.
Examples:

  • ✅ On time

  • ✅ Polite

  • ✅ Professional

  • ✅ Good packaging

Dislike Options (for ratings < 3)

These options appear when a customer gives a rating of 1 or 2 stars.
Examples:

  • ❌ Late

  • ❌ Rude

  • ❌ Unprofessional

  • ❌ Poor packaging

To add or remove an option, simply type the feedback keyword and press Enter. You can remove an existing option by clicking the ✕ next to it.

Tips for Effective Use

  • Keep feedback options short and clear (1–2 words each).

  • Use consistent language so results are easy to compare.

  • Periodically review low-rated feedback to identify repeat issues.

What Customers See

When customers rate their delivery:

  • A star rating widget (1–5 stars) appears.

  • Based on their selection, they’ll be asked to choose from your defined Like or Dislike options.

  • Their rating and selected feedback are recorded and can be viewed in your Orders → Delivery Ratings section.

Example

Customer rates 5 stars → Sees Like Options → selects “On time” and “Professional.”
Customer rates 2 stars → Sees Dislike Options → selects “Late” and “Poor packaging.”
