What are Location notes?
The Location Note feature lets you add extra delivery details—like landmarks or special directions—right next to an address. This makes finding the delivery spot much easier for drivers and ensures smooth, hassle-free deliveries for everyone.
How to Use on the Mobile App
1. Add or Edit a Location Note
Tap the pencil ✏️ icon next to "Location Note."
Enter extra guidance (e.g., "Near Vibgyor School").
Tap Save.
2. View a Location Note
Once added, the note will be visible on the order detail screen.
Helpful notes make delivery faster and more accurate.
How to Use on the Admin Dashboard
1. Add or Edit a Location Note
In the "Stops" list for your route, click the note area next to the address.
Enter instructions or a landmark for the driver.
Hit Save.
2. View Location Notes in the Route List
Any added note—like "Near Vibgyor School"—appears directly under the address in your route plan.
Why is This Useful?
For Drivers: Quickly locate tricky addresses using landmarks.
For Merchants & Admins: Reduce failed deliveries by sharing special instructions instantly.
Better Teamwork: Everyone sees the same helpful notes, leading to smoother delivery runs.
Tips
Always use clear, specific landmarks (e.g., "Opposite City Park" or "3rd-floor blue door").
Update notes if you spot issues or get better directions from customers.
Notes can be edited anytime from both Mobile App and Admin Dashboard.
