Before starting the mobile app integration, the Klaviyo account needs to be configured and the required access/details must be provided to the development team. This includes the Public API Key / Site ID for connecting the app to Klaviyo and access to the Klaviyo Settings page for configuring push notifications.
1. Public API Key / Site ID
The Public API Key, also known as the Site ID, is used to identify and connect the mobile application to the correct Klaviyo account.
Steps:
Log in to your Klaviyo account.
Go to Settings.
Select General.
Locate the Public API Key / Site ID.
Copy the key and provide it to the development team.
2. Klaviyo Settings Access for Push Notifications
Access to the Klaviyo Settings page is required to configure and verify push notifications for the mobile application. The development team will need access to the relevant push notification settings and credentials.
Required access:
Klaviyo → Settings → Push Notifications
Please ensure the development team has the required permissions to access and configure these settings.
