What is a Pickup Point?

A pickup point is a saved location that customers can visit to collect their orders instead of having them delivered to their address. This is useful for businesses that offer both delivery and pickup options.

Features

  • Mark as Pickup Point: Any saved location can be marked as a pickup point

  • Shipping Rate Matching: You can optionally specify a shipping rate label that will be used to match orders for pickup

  • Order Classification: Orders can be automatically classified as pickup orders based on their shipping method or tags

Setting Up Pickup Points

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Saved Locations

  2. Add or edit a saved location

  3. Check the "Mark as Pickup Point" checkbox

  4. Enter a shipping rate label that matches your Shopify shipping rates

  5. Or, enter the order tag that you use to identify pickup point orders

  6. Save the location

Order Classification

Orders will be automatically classified as pickup orders if they match any of these conditions:

  • The order has a shipping method that matches the shipping rate label of a pickup point

  • The order has tags that match your pickup order classification rules
