Apploy Integration Testing Steps

Follow these steps to verify your integration in the Apploy app.

Step 1: Install Apploy via Shopify App Store

  1. Go to the Apploy listing on the Shopify App Store:
    https://apps.shopify.com/apploy-mobile-app-builder

  2. Click Install on your development store and complete the Shopify prompts.

Step 2: Launch via Partner Preview Link

  1. Enter your development store’s or client's store's myshopify.com URL.

  2. Click Instant Preview

Step 3: Access the Apploy Dashboard

1. After installation or partner‑link login, you’ll land on the Apploy Branding section in the dashboard.

2. Configure Your App Name

  1. In App Name, enter your client or store name.

  2. Click Save (top right).

  3. The preview panel updates and shows a QR code to launch the demo.

The QR code appears in the same dashboard view as above. In case of any confusion or help, simply click the Book a call button for assistance.

Step 4: Preview on Mobile

  1. Scan the dashboard QR code with your phone.

  2. Install the Toolstr Merch preview app from the store that opens:

    • iOS App Store

    • Google Play Store

  1. Open Toolstr Merch and tap Proceed.

  2. Your Shopify store's demo app loads in the Toolstr Merch Preview mobile app.

Step 5: Verify Your App Integration

  1. Within the demo app, navigate to where your app should appear: For example:

    • Subscriptions: look for subscription options on a product page.

    • Reviews: check the review widget on listings or product pages.

    • Upsells/Bundles: view upsell prompts on product screens.

  2. Confirm UI loads without errors and interactive features work as expected.


Note: If your app works correctly on the website, it should work on the app. If you encounter issues, check the website first and then contact us for assistance.

Step 6: Post‑Verification Activities

Once your integration works on the mobile app, we can engage in co-marketing activities and co-promotions. Here are some suggestions:

  • Add each other's apps to in‑app Integrations list.

  • Feature each other on the website, Integration or Partner page.

  • Create integration-specific merchant help docs.

  • Publish a blog post demonstrating the integration or mention in an existing blog.

  • Cross‑post social shoutouts (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).

  • Include each other in the Newsletter, Product Update email.

  • Host a webinar for joint demos etc.
