Follow the steps below to control what appears in your mobile app.
1. Go to Shopify Admin
Log in to your Shopify dashboard.
2. Open the Apploy Mobile App Builder Sales Channel
From the left sidebar, under Sales channels, click Apploy – Mobile App Builder.
3. Go to the Design Page
Inside the app builder, open the Design section.
4. Scroll Down to Advanced Settings
Locate the Advanced settings area near the bottom of the page.
5. Expand “Display Settings”
Click to expand the Display Settings section.
Here you will see fields that let you control how the app handles page rendering.
6. Add CSS Selectors of Elements You Want to Hide
In the field Additional CSS Selectors, enter one or more CSS selectors (comma-separated) for the sections or blocks you want to hide from the app.
Examples:
.announcement-bar#newsletter.footer__blocks.custom-banner
If you’re unsure about the selector, inspect the element using your browser’s developer tools.
7. Save and Preview
Click Save, then check the Preview App on the right to confirm the element is hidden.
8. Publish the Changes
Once satisfied, click Publish.
Your selected elements will now be hidden in your Apploy mobile app while still appearing on your online store.
